Ellen Huerta was keenly aware that she had most people’s dream job, if not life, as a recent college grad living in San Francisco working for Google. But something wasn’t right. Everything in her life had propelled her towards getting (and liking) her career at Google.
But after a few years (and one large promotion), Ellen still didn’t feel truly happy. She had the nagging sense that if she stayed she would regret it later on, or feel unfulfilled because she’d been too scared to take a chance. So she left. Read the full story on Ellen’s decision to leave Google, and what came after here.
