How to Budget for a Summer Internship

Meet Brooke. She’s graduating college this May, and like many of you, she’s been on the hunt for a summer internship. She’s just heard from a local company that they would like to name her the new Product Development Intern, but there’s a catch–the position will pay $2,000 at the end of three months. Can she handle her expenses in the meantime?

Planwise, a free online finance tool, has created a quick video to demonstrate how Brooke–or you–can make an informed decision to either accept or decline the offer. In this scenario, Brooke has $2,000 in the bank, spends $820 in monthly expenses, and is about to quit her part-time job. Watch the video to find out if she’ll stay in the green this summer with this dream internship!
