Accounts Payable Specialist Atlanta Consolidated Accounting Office -
Duluth, GA Responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable
records. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct
supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following: * Processes accounts payable * Posts accounts *
Reconciles schedules * Maintains accounts payable files * Records vendor
invoices for payment and 1099 reporting * Ensures expense is posted in
proper period to the proper account * Reconcile monthly factory
statements for dealership(s) * Post EOM HAG statements * Assist in
monthly closing * Process employee expense reports * Reconcile gas card
bills * Post invoices for all vendors * Prepare accounts payable checks
- Issue direct checks for dealership(s) * Process miscellaneous /
drivers checks * Reconcile payable accounts / statements and run batch
checks on the 10th * Determine / Issue refund checks for parts returns *
Maintain sublet schedules * Verify related party schedules are
reconciled (month end balancing) * Answer all vendor inquiries *
Maintains CSI at or above Company standards * Maintains an organized,
clean and safe work area * Participates in required training * Records
all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system * Follows
Safeguards rules and regulations. * Demonstrates the Companys Core

Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the
performance of duties. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: To

Automotive o Business o Human Resources o Information Technology Desired
Work Experience: up to 3 years o 3-5 years o 5+ years
Education/Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from
two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Previous Accounting experience, specifically Accounts
Payable in a high volume environment desired. Strong organizational
skills required. Certificates and Licenses: o Valid Drivers License o
Automobile Salesperson License Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge
of Microsoft Office Products. Ability to learn the Dealership Management
System, Spreadsheet software, accounting software, and inventory
software. Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow
instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and
company personnel. Attendance Expectations: The position requires
regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening
hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands: While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle,
and feel. Environment Demands: Duties are performed primarily at a desk
in an office setting. Work includes frequent clerical and administrative
responsibilities and interaction with vendors, managers and employees.
Verbal and Writing Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions,
correspondence, and memos. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract,
multiply and divide. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as
discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical
problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
