Within our Advisory practice, the FSO’s Data & Analytics offering provides strategic technology, technology enablement, information management, market, credit and operational risk, security, program advisory, and process and controls. The team includes individuals who have deep industry, product and client knowledge.
Within Data & Analytics, we focus on business process transformation and delivery. Working collaboratively with our clients, this team:
Works with clients to drive transformational change in the way the clients process and deliver their services within the organization
Defines the strategy and plan for implementing process management throughout the organization
Plans and implements business process solutions
Estimates the effort and cost for a large complex solutions
Works with business organizations to facilitate implementation
Develops client relationships across multiple levels

The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing US-based resources who work closely with our experienced Advisory professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our US-based Financial Services clients. The Service Delivery Center is a core component of the EY Vision 2020 growth strategy.
Job responsibilities of a Data & Analytics Associate Analyst may include:
Participate in all delivery phases, including inception, elaboration, construction and transition
Develop requirements specifications and design documents
Create use cases for business process flows
Develop code based on the requirement specifications and design documents
Conduct unit tests and undertake analysis of results to verify that developed code meets requirements
Report directly to Senior Architect/Manager as appropriate
Support Senior Architect/Manager in upward stakeholder management and day-to-day management of the BPM organization
Responsible for delivery of business cases, use cases, code and unit tests
Work closely with offshore teams (as needed) to deliver projects to time, cost and quality requirements
Adopt a logical and organized approach to problem resolution
Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions
Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements
Good numerical/mathematical ability
Proactive approach in identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
Ability to prioritize personal workloads to best meet organizational objectives
Database/SQL, data integration, ETL and data movement-related development
Reporting and dashboards
Business and data analytics development and deployment
To qualify, candidates should have:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, other related technology majors or related field preferred
Strong academic record — including, without limitation, course work that EY deems relevant to this position
Zero to one year of work experience
Ability to meet deadlines while simultaneously working on multiple projects
Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment
Experience with analyzing and solving problems of a complex nature
Experience working with business, management and technology concepts
Flexible and willing to travel as well as work in excess of standard hours when necessary
The ability and willingness to travel is an essential function of this position, as travel is estimated at 0%–25%
Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem - solving skills
Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
