TAX PREPARER JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our company. You will work with clients to gather all necessary documents, complete income tax documents, file returns, and check financial statements for errors. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting, certified public accountant credentials, and bookkeeping or tax preparation experience. Now we are also willing to take someone that does not have tax experience but has good math or financial skills and can train you to where you need to be. Since you will be working with people from various backgrounds and finance experience, you need to be a strong communicator.

PAY:$15.00-$20.00 AND UP + COMMISSION AND BONUSES

TAX PREPARER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and file tax documents, such as income tax returns
• Check documents for errors
• Meet & maintain relationships with clients
• Provide support to clients in the case of an IRS audit
• Perform other clerical duties as necessary

TAX PREPARER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:(RECOMMENDED)

• High school diploma or GED certificate; bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant license (preferred)
• Bookkeeping experience
• Math or financial skills
• Bilingual communication skills a plus
