  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

    The Industry Specialty Services Associate provides partners with managers and senior associates on client projects including financial analysis, regulatory research, and interpretation.

    Job Duties:

    • Conducts cost analysis, including cost estimates, for government contract proposals. Summarizes finding and presents to managers and senior associates
    • Prepares cost models in Excel or Access to determine rate structures for the clients
    • Researches Federal procurement issues to support recommendations to clients on how to proceed on a government contract work
    • Provides strong written work products, including alternative cost models and presentations, to support client projects- Aids in firm development activities and other marketing initiatives including but not limited to attending trade shows, networking, developing internal and external practice development opportunities and identifying cross servicing opportunities
    • Applies principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions for client engagements
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field required

    Experience:

    • Prior work experience in related field preferred

    License/Certifications:

    • N/A

    Software:

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Language:

    • N/A

    Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing
    • Strong analytical and basic research skills
    • Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
    • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
    • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • US citizenship required

    Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

    California Range: $55,000 - $100,000

    New York City/ Valhalla Range: $72,000 - $78,000

    Washington Range: $55,000 - $100,000
