FINANCIAL SERVICES REGULATORY INTERN

Our Consulting practice is seeking high-performing students with an interest in Risk management and Regulatory Compliance to join the Financial Services Regulatory Team. As a Financial Services Regulatory Intern, you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service excellence while working with other consulting professionals and interacting with valued clients.

How you will contribute:

• Performing regulatory compliance reviews, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) assessments, audits, review and compilations within the financial services industry

• Reviewing client’s operating procedures and systems of internal control

• Performing test of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement

• Presenting and communicating status and issues to client personnel while developing and maintaining client relationships

• Understanding engagement processes and approach, including key stakeholders, data points, and project scope

• Preparing client and documentation that meets firm and professional standards

• Embracing the importance of working in a collaborative environment with diverse teams to promote creativity, innovation, and diversity of thought

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA or BS Accounting, Finance, Risk, or Business-related field

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Ability to travel as needed to serve clients

New York City Pay Transparency

Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
