Job Description Qualifications:

Executive Flight Operations is the corporate flight department of The Boeing Company based in Gary, Indiana and has the primary responsibility of safe, efficient, and timely operations of executive travel. EFO operates four Challenger 650s and three Boeing Business Jets B-737s to fly the company’s executives around the world.
As a flight operations intern at EFO, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting, while learning the ins and outs of a corporate flight department from scheduling, flight operations to maintenance. The ideal candidate will be assisting with projects in Flight Operations, Flight Standards, and Safety. Interns will also have firsthand flight line experience and exposure. We look for intern candidates that have an interest in a career in corporate aviation and eager to learn and contribute to our team.
The interns will work within the Executive Flight Operations organization in support of flight operations. Specific duties include: 1) Potential auditing of Safety Management System data to include airport risk assessments and flight crew fatigue risk management 2) Conduct Line Operations Safety Audits onboard company aircraft by assessing adherence to Operations Manual guidance in the flight deck 3) Participate in the Operational Control Center, establishing flight contingency plans, assisting with large aircraft movements, review airport requirements and assist in weather and trip outlook planning.
Evaluate first time quality in all aspects of the flight department; flight standards, training programs, safety, connectivity, maintenance programs, and crew resource management. There will be additional opportunity to assist on flight department projects throughout the summer as time permits.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Summary pay range: $58,000 - $73,000
