    BGS is seeking a C17 Entry Level Systems Support Analyst in Warner Robins, Georgia. As part of the C-17 Transport Tools and Technologies Team, this role assists C-17 technical publication group with system analysis, environmental testing and modification, engagement in workflow tickets between internal and external team members to better improve processes and products, problem solve and troubleshoot software and server items and engage with vendor engineering to implement long-term solutions.

    You will work with many different software and sever components to ensure the C-17 technical data teams have the necessary tools at-the-ready to execute requirements to produce and sustain multiple technical publication products in timely and repetitive manner. This will require interfacing with teams across the country, knowledge in server and OS administration, programming skills, the ability to organize and prioritize workload, work with and lean on others to get the job done.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Researches and performs basic analysis of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design
    • Assists customers to clarify basic requirements
    • Interprets and translates routine requirements into functional specifications
    • Assists in the development and execution of moderately complex tests to validate system functionality against specifications

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Associate’s degree or higher
    • Experience in a role that requires technical, analytical, and writing skills
    • Experience in a role that requires functioning in self-directed environment
    • Experience with both PDF based publications and web-based IETM
    • Experience with using computers, traditional office software products, SharePoint, GitLab, and others
    • Knowledge or experience with database functions
    • Experience with basic scripting and programming across multiple common languages
    • Expected to work across local and remote teams to be trained and accomplished tasks

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • Experience with technical publications and associated languages (S1000D XML, SGML)
    • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint, GitLab
    • Experience with government customers to deliver services and products
    • Be open and receptive to constructive feedback
    • Be proactive in learning new products, systems, software, tools, workflows, and tasks to support overall team’s goals
    • Comfort working on multiple cross-functional teams
    • Take ownership for assigned tasks and required follow-up actions

    Summary pay range: $59,500 - $80,500
