Design and Analysis Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Design and Analysis Engineers to join the F/A-18E/F Mission Systems Analysis, Integration, and Test team in Berkeley, MO. These individuals will be working on the latest avionics and sensors for the Super Hornet and Growler fleet.
Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment. Experience with electronic circuit design and test is a plus.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level and Associate Level Design and Analysis Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements
Develop or modify basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements
Perform system tests and troubleshoots in the lab to verify operational and functional requirements
Support resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
(Level 1) Bachelor’s with related work experience
(Level 2) 2+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or work related experience with a Master’s
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Experience in the defense industry
Experience with one or more technical areas:
Vehicle Health Management
Radios
Sensors
Communication Networks
Datalinks
Navigation
Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
Experience with electronic design, code and test
Experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
Experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation
Experience with Jira
Strong oral and written communications skills
Typical Education/Experience:
(Level 1)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
(Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range Level 1: $66,300 - $89,700
Summary pay range Level 2: $79,900 - $108,100
