    Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems has an exciting opportunity for Digital Electronics Design Engineers (Entry level, Associate and Experienced) to join us as part of our Space Digital Products & Electronics team located in El Segundo, CA.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Design and development of state-of-the art digital circuit & unit hardware / digital electronics for aerospace applications
    • Duties will include electronicsdesign, requirements and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance and design verification
    • Technical support for production and test of electronic products
    • Support projects involvingElectronics design.
    • Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products.
    • Develop detailed designs of limited scope.
    • Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design.
    • Capture data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis.
    • Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. Conducts trade studies and literature research to support future product designs.
    • Work under general supervision.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in El Segundo, CA. This worksite participates in Boeing’s 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.

    This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering
    • Entry level: 0- 2 years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware
    • Associate level: 1+ years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware
    • Experienced level: 3+ years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware
    • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Experience with Digital, Analog and Power Electronics
    • Experience with circuit design and analysis
    • Experience with Firmware, Microprocessor or other Hardware
    • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or other related advanced degree

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Entry-Level:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Associate:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Experienced:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Relocation:

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Summary pay range for Entry Level: $70,550 - $117,000

    (New Hire Sign-On Bonus of $5,000 when you have a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI U.S. Government clearance that has been active in the past 24 months, current employees and subsidiary employees not eligible for sign-on bonuses.)

    Summary pay range for Associate Level: $85,850 - $139,500

    (New Hire Sign-On Bonus of $5,000 when you have a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI U.S. Government clearance that has been active in the past 24 months, current employees and subsidiary employees not eligible for sign-on bonuses.)

    Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $102,850 - $173,500

    (New Hire Sign-On Bonus of $10,000 when you have a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI U.S. Government clearance that has been active in the past 24 months, current employees and subsidiary employees not eligible for sign-on bonuses.)
