    JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:

    THE BOEING COMPANY is looking for an ENTRY LEVEL FLIGHT TEST ENGINEER to join our team in SEATTLE, WASHINGTON.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods. Develops simple test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk

    • Supports development of test debrief material

    • Participates in active aircraft testing and evaluation of real-time test performance data

    • Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer

    • Prepares test reports for review

    • Works under general supervision

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and/or equivalent experience

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):

    • Engineering degree ABET accredited

    • Experience in flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration or simulation

    • High capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering processes quickly

    • Ability to work within a fast-faced, dynamic, global, self-managed team environment

    • Ability to adapt to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements

    TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

    • In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    RELOCATION:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
