    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Global Services (BGS) San Antonio is looking to add an Entry-Level Lean Practitioner (OpEx) - Process located in San Antonio TX.

    Improvement to their team. The successful candidate will support Boeing Production System (BPS) implementation and maturity, and work collaboratively with Functional and Manufacturing teams with project execution, continuous improvement tools and principles, Lead and facilitate (Lean tool certified) process improvement efforts. Support advanced continuous improvement tool applications, Participate in strategy development and Conduct Beta tests on new tools in San Antonio, TX.

    Position Responsibilities:

    10% strategic / 90% tactical

    • Support Lean Representatives out on shop floor

    • Drive aircraft Strategy & Facilitate events

    • Drive Continuous Improvement actions to closure

    • Support team training and coaching

    • Work with aircraft Managers/ Plane Chiefs/ Team leads

    • Share best practices

    • Learn and educate tactical lean initiatives

    • Drive 5S maturity levels

    • Drive the Lean Maturity level program within your assigned Platform

    • Provide input into site team decisions

    • Provide support to Employee Involvement Teams via meeting facilitation and coaching

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the San Antonio, TX location.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

    • 1+ years experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, employee involvement and One BPS engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment.

    • 1+ years of experience implementing lean manufacturing principles in any role impacting a production or shop floor environment

    • 1+ years of experience with 5S initiatives

    • Capable of traveling 25% of the time.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Lean Green Belt Six Sigma Certification

    • Involvement in Employee Involvement or Engagement teams

    • Experience supporting Lean+ workshops (e.g., Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM), Accelerated Improvement Workshop (AIW), Production, Preparation Process (3P), Kaizen, VSM/Process Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Distribution Kaizen (DK).
