    BGS is looking for an Entry Level Structural Analysis Engineer (Software Development) to join the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Commercial Military Derivative Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) team located in Tukwila, Washington.

    The Derivative ASIP team creates and manages through-life structural integrity and sustainment programs for Boeing FAA-certified commercial derivative military aircraft including KC-46, AEW&C, AWACS, and P-8. The software engineers on the team develop and maintain the Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) software program product line, which takes aircraft data recorder files and calculates structural fatigue accrual and fleet usage statistics to help manage aircraft life. The team is looking to add an entry-level Software Developer who develops concrete solutions to complex, sometimes open-ended problems with a focus on technical growth and learning.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain software written in C# and .NET on Windows environment
    • Programmatically interface with SQL databases
    • Work with team of software and structural analysis engineers to understand product requirements
    • Participate in agile software development using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
    • Utilize Coverity to help maintain software compliance

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Active Security Clearance
    • 1+ years’ experience in Object Oriented Programming (C#, Swift, ObjC, C++)
    • 1+ years’ experience with Relational Databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, Teradata
    • Experience with version control systems (Git, IBM Rational Team Concert)
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
    • Experience with Software Development Tools (Visual Studio)
    • Experience with Microsoft .NET products in a software development environment
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
    • Experience with performing mechanical designs with large complex systems
    • Experience with technical/engineering/mathematics components

    Summary pay range: $69,700 - $94,300
