JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:
THE BOEING COMPANY is currently looking for an ENTRY LEVEL WEIGHT & MASS PROPERTIES ENGINEER to join the Weight Engineering Team located in EVERETT, WA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops current and forecast weight, balance and mass properties data.
Participates in defining weight, balance and mass properties related design requirements.
Participates in developing customer specification commitments.
Provides routine vehicle or system configuration guidance.
Supports individual design team weight control efforts.
Estimates, calculates and measures and verifies mass, weight, stiffness and inertias of components, assemblies and completed vehicles or systems.
Participates in developing and maintaining weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems.
Generates weight and balance reports. Participates in developing and implementing new processes and tools. Works under general supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Summary pay range: $68,850 - $93,150
