    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Entry-Level or Associate Fabrication Specialists (Level A and Level B) to support the Mechanical and Composite Assembly Team in Salt Lake City, Utah on Multiple Shifts!

    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team. In this role, you will partner with our manufacturing assembly team to build various sub-assemblies and large-scale structures for our commercial aircraft products.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Performs machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks.
    • Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.
    • Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
    • Assembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains.
    • Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
    • Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.
    • Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
    • Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
    • Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
    • Able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
    • Able to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience ):

    • 1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3+ months experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
    • Experience with managing or working to safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data.
    • Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools).

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Entry Level (Level A): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

    Associate (Level B): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

    Summary pay range:

    Entry Level (Level A): $40,500 - $49,500

    Associate (Level B): $49,500 - $60,500
