MST LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

As a MST Logistics Coordinator , you'll have responsibility in coordinating international and domestic shipments and make necessary arrangements with carriers, customs brokers, and government agencies. Perform in house tool repair, ensure tools are maintained and in safe operation condition.
What you'll do:
- Coordinates the daily activities of logistics staff including document preparation, shipment scheduling, and liaising with outside agencies.
- Establishes methods to meet work schedules and coordinates work activities with other departments and/or sub-contractors.
- Acts as a liaison between customers, StandardAero, and suppliers.
- Tracks and traces shipments and communicates status to customers and MST teams.
- Coordinates the shipping and receiving of company tooling, as applicable.
- Coordinates customs and export documents with sub-contractors (carriers, custom brokers) and government agencies, as applicable.
- Ensures tooling is maintained and in safe operational condition by scheduling repairs and maintenance services (calibration) as applicable.
- Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
- Carries out special projects as assigned.
- Coordinates yearly tooling inventory audits and inventory procedures.
- Create and update tooling procedures as applicable.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to operate a forklift and get certification.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be able to work unsupervised for a period of time.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
- Must be able to travel when required for tooling inventory and audits.
- Able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted and up to 75 lbs. assisted.
- Ability to get along with co-workers and peers.
- Maintenance of regular attendance and punctuality within customary tolerances.
- Must possess effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
- Must be available to be on call evenings, weekends and weekends.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Good planning, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of related company instructions, and shipping regulations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as learn any corporate or industry software used by the position.
