    StandardAero is looking for an Accessory Shop Mechanic Helper at our Stockton Facility.

    An Accessory Shop Mechanic Helper is responsible for performing high quality maintenance of aircraft engine accessories. This Accessory Shop Mechanic Helper has very limited experience in overhaul and testing of engine accessories. As an Aviation Mechanic Helper for these accessories, the key duties are to help Accessory Shop Mechanics with all aspects of repair, testing, and overhaul.

    As an Accessory Shop Mechanic Helper , your responsibilities include:

    • Assisting with assembly and disassembly of components
    • Supporting repairs and maintenance tasks
    • Aiding in subassembly testing and calibration
    • Helping with test bench setup and operation
    • Applying troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • At least 1 year of mechanical experience
    • Ability to comprehend technical orders and publications
    • Capability to push or pull up to 50 lbs.
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with J-85 engines
    • Some A&P certification or equivalent experience through education and hands-on training
    • At least 1 year of experience in aircraft engine accessory overhaul and repair

    Salary Range:

    $20.50 -$31.29 per hour

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, StandardAero considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
