    Job Description Qualifications:

    The Boeing Company is seeking motivated and talented **Mechanical System Design & **Analysis Engineers to the International Space Station Program and support the only laboratory orbiting more than 200 miles above earth where crew have been living and working since October 2000! The Mechanical Design & Analysis (MeDA) team is responsible for new hardware development as well as sustaining the United States hardware.Boeing is currently seeking a Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Works with Lead Design Engineer to develop mechanical products from conceptual phase through detailed design, including developing release products

    • Develops both Model Based Definition (MBD Products) and 2D drawing sheets in compliance with ASME and BDS drafting standards

    • Works consistently within the program's Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tools. Siemens NX and Teamcenter toolsets exposure a plus

    • Works with Lead Design Engineer to develop all necessary tolerance analysis for designed products

    • Works with Manufacturing Engineering to develop plans for assembly, utilizing Design for Manufacturing Assembly (DFMA) principles where applicable

    • Works with Lead Design Engineer to provide support for all applicable project design reviews, including presentation development for NASA customer

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline by December 2023.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • CAD experience

    • GD&T experience

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Entry Level (Level 1): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, discipline (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Associate (Level 2)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering discipline (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Relocation:

    Summary pay range for Entry Level: $69,700 - $94,200
