Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)is currently seeking an Entry-Level or Associate Supply Chain Analyst (Level 1 or 2) to join the Systems Operations teamin Everett, Washington!
Supply Chain Analysts for the Commercial Airplanes Systems commodity help ensure supply of procured parts meets the demands of the factories producing all of our commercial airplanes. These professionals help us support our factories by optimizing inventory levels, understanding supplier and factory demand complexities, and ensuring that supply will meet demand to keep our factories going. The work day can include standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned for the Systems commodity.
The Systems commodity of parts involves complex and exciting assemblies like avionics, flight systems, and landing gear!
Supply Chain Analysts at the Boeing company get the opportunity to learn all aspects of the aerospace manufacturing supply chain, gain knowledge of the most advanced technology used in aviation, and get to make a positive impact on the lives of the flying public. Supply Chain Analysts are a key liaison between Boeing’s Supply Chain team and our production partners.
Position Responsibilities:
Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.
Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.
Ensures on-time delivery.
Optimizes inventory levels.
Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.
Investigates complex ordering conditions.
Develops and implements new ordering methodologies.
Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
1+ years of experience working hands-on with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
1+ years of experience in materials management and/or supply chain functions
1+ years of experience scheduling and ordering inventory/supplies
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred, but not required
Typical Education/Experience:
Entry-Level (Level 1):
Related work experience, relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred, but not required.
Associate (Level 2):
Typically, 3 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
