    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is looking for Test & Evaluation Engineers to join our test operations team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role will primarily focus on working military derivatives of commercial airplanes.

    Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level, Associate and Mid-Level Test and Evaluation Engineers.

    This position is primarily 1st shift however; occasional alternate or extended shifts may be required to support test program objectives. In addition, will require occasional travel (up to 20%).

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Test planning, execution, and analysis of flight, ground, and laboratory tests of electronic and weapon systems on VC-25, E-4B, C-32, C-40, E-3, E-767, KC-135, KC-767, and International Head of State aircraft or their subsystems

    • Applies general knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulic, electrical, egress systems), components (e.g., multifunction displays wing, engine, landing gear transmission), and loadable/non-loadable software (e.g., radar operational programs, inertial navigation programs, operational flight programs)

    • Evaluates results against customer and design specification

    • Supports testing to verify system behavior and integration into platform

    • Participates on test and analysis teams; provides guidance and recommendations to test conductors, engineers, technicians, maintainers, customers, and management to ensure program and test objectives are achieved

    • Works with the customer and management at test coordination and/or technical interface meetings to provide findings and recommendations

    • Builds customer trust by being available for technical consultation and troubleshooting assistance when requested by the customer

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

    • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Experience in aircraft testing

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace engineering

    • 1+ years of experience in complex test planning, development, and execution

    • 1+ years of engineering experience in both integration lab and ground/flight test environments

    • Certification experience in FAA and/or EASA transport category aircraft programs

    • Experience with wire testing procedure

    • Previous experience in the aerospace industry

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Entry-Level (Level 1)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Associate Level (Level 2)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Mid-Level (Level 3)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Relocation:

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Summary pay range for entry-level: $60,350-$81,650

    Summary pay range for associate level: $70,550-$95,450

    Summary pay range for mid-level: $85,000-$115,000
