Headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, Dover trades on the New York Stock Exchange under DOV. -As a contributing member of the COE team, the Global Sourcing Analyst will help execute strategic projects that produce substantial results for both Dover Global Sourcing and Dover Operating Companies while supporting development of operations/supply chain excellence toolkits. The position will serve as a Global Sourcing champion for various Supply Chain initiatives and will support execution of various Supply Chain projects. Viable candidates must be able to build and manage collaborative relationships both internally as well as externally to ensure alignment with annual operating plans while driving innovation through excellence. Successful candidates will have had a strong knowledge of and a proven track record in supply chain, strategic sourcing, project management, problem-solving, and analytics. -Scope of Responsibilities: -Support execution of various Supply Chain projects with minimal supervision -Develop and improve performance metrics sourcing cycle time/efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, etc. -Create, deploy and improve KPIs and reporting to stakeholders; provide training as needed -Develop and institutionalize sourcing tools/templates and processes to improve Dovers operational performance -Enhance and implement RFx and analysis templates -Develop and lead supply chain training modules across organization on topics spanning Negotiations, Global Sourcing, Make/Buy, Plan for Every Part (PFEP), etc. -Support Dovers supply chain integration process and tools -Support Dovers Make/Buy, Value Engineering, and other supply chain processes and toolkit improvements -Support Dovers supply chain inventory optimization processes and toolkit development -Identify and leverage supplier and market research tools -Support recruitment and management of Dovers Supply Chain Development program. Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, or Engineering -3-5 years related experience in operations and/or Supply Chain -Knowledge of procurement trends, strategic sourcing processes and best practices -Proficiency in all MS Office applications; advanced word processing and database skills a plus -Analytical Skills: Solid ability to analyze complex problems using data from multiple sources. -Communication: Ability to build relationships and influence people across all levels -Preferred Qualifications: -Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. -Professional Procurement, Supply Chain certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, etc.) a plus -International business experience highly desirable -Bilingual or multiple language capability highly desirable.
