    Major Duties

    The primary purpose of this position is to provide analytical skills, logistics functional knowledge, and programmatic insights to establish and fulfill requirements for operational logistics, cyber planning support, assessments for ongoing cyber operations, contingency planning, mobilization, and exercises, and real property support. Identify the need for and coordinate/manage the development, integration, and implementation of a wide range of logistics functional specialties, including transportation, manning, training, and the life cycle management of material from procurement to disposition, to provide the fully integrated logistics support infrastructure that is essential to Command Headquarters and Cyber Mission Force (CMF) operations worldwide .

    Qualifications/ Specialized Experience

    Basic Requirement for Logistics Management Specialist: Demonstrated ability to provide analytical skills, logistics functional knowledge, and programmatic insights to establish and fulfill requirements for operational logistics, cyber planning support, assessments for ongoing cyber operations, contingency planning, mobilization, and exercises, and real property support. OR Exemption: you are a current military member who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GG-0346-11 on or before September 30, 2000. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: To qualify based on experience, resume must include creditable experience of Knowledge and skill in interpreting and applying policy and process guidelines governing planning and management of DoD logistics support requirements, including the Continuity of Operations (COOP) process. This may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

    Conditions of Employment

    • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

    • Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.

    • May be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.

    • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft.

    • The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.

    • This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program. As a precondition and continuing condition of employment, the incumbent of this position must, IAW Chapter 5, section II, paragraphs 5-8b and 5-8c(4) of AR 600-85 (The Army Substance Abuse Program) and DA PAM 600-85 (Army Substance Abuse Program Civilian Services), Chapter 3, paragraphs 3-2e and f agree to submit urinalysis testing on a recurring basis. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the DA, Drug Free Federal Workplace Program.

    • The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.

    • TDY will be required up to 10% of the time. Incumbent may be required to travel by military and/or commercial aircraft in the performance of assigned tasks.

    • This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). Therefore, position requirements for DAWIA certification is Lifecycle Logistics - Advanced must be achieved in no more than four (4) years from the date of hire. The position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the LCL career field. The incumbent must be willing and able to sign a three-year tenure agreement and must be willing to sign a mobility agreement.
