Your Role

As an Advanced Parking Feature Algorithm Development Intern, you’ll work on the cutting edge of automotive technology, focusing on developing algorithms for intelligent parking systems. You’ll contribute to the creation of features like automated parking, park assist, and autonomous valet parking. This internship will allow you to collaborate with industry-leading engineers to design, optimize, and test algorithms that make parking safer, easier, and more efficient. What You’ll Do:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of advanced algorithms for parking features such as automated parking, park assist, and obstacle detection.
• Work with sensor data (e.g., cameras, ultrasonic sensors, radar) to create perception and control algorithms that enhance parking capabilities.
• Support the integration of parking algorithms with vehicle systems to ensure real-time performance, accuracy, and reliability.
• Conduct simulations and real-world testing to validate and refine parking feature algorithms.
• Analyze algorithm performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose optimizations to improve safety and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers, software developers, and vehicle testing teams to bring advanced parking solutions to market.
• Document findings, share insights with engineering teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of parking algorithms.

What You’ll Need:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PHd degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, MATLAB, Simulink with a focus on algorithm development.
• Knowledge of sensor data processing and experience with sensors such as cameras, ultrasonic sensors, or radar.
• Understanding of control theory, computer vision, or sensor fusion techniques is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for developing innovative solutions for real-world challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
