    Engineering Intern

    Your Role

    The Engineering Intern will operate in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment which requires flexibility, adaptability, initiative as well as excellent organization and problem-solving skills. This position will be located in Troy, MI.

    Key job responsibilities for this role include:

    • Assist design / development of Electrical Distribution Systems products and electrical system solutions for North American OEM’s
    • Coordinate design and design change activities for various Electrical Distribution Systems for customers
    • Work closely with product development teams to align Aptiv technology with customer needs and business pursuit
    • Lead implementation of the latest technologies into Aptiv product designs
    • Exploit Aptiv product differentiators that provides a competitive advantage (technology, cost, quality, services)
    • Leverage Aptiv organizations/products into technical solution proposals for new business opportunities
    • Work with Aptiv sales and Business Lines to ensure business objectives are met
    • Create and deliver technically strong customer presentations
    • Support, and work closely, with Aptiv Electrification teams in other regions
    • Available to monitor and participate in harness and customer launch activities
    • Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably 2026 graduate in Electrical or Mechanical
    • 1+ years' experience in a team environment
    • Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal
    • Multi-tasking team player with a hands-on approach

    Nice to have:

    • Strong understanding of RCL circuits
    • Exposure to manufacturing environment
    • CAD experience
