    Job Description

    Summary

    The Program Management Intern, Supply Chain will support Supply Chain Leadership and the Program Management Office by providing insight into material strategies, plans, and status. Additionally, this individual will actively participate in Supply Chain related front end business activities.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the generation and execution of the Supply Chain Program strategy and plan for assigned programs
    • Participate in planning, execution, and reporting of material procurement plan
    • Support Supply Chain risk assessment and execution of mitigation plans to ensure AV is able to meet Customer delivery requirements
    • Ensure Supply Chain is included and consulted with for development programs, serve as liaison between development teams and Supply Chain
    • Must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain functions and monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
    • Must be dedicated to learning, executing, and improving Supply Chain processes
    • Support leadership reviews, including Gate Reviews, Monthly Operations Reviews, Program Reviews, and Customer Reviews
    • Support Supply Chain representation in Integrated Program Team (IPT)
    • Manage data for BOM (Bill of Materials) Management
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution of material shortages
    • Provide support needed to ensure delivery of Program Supply Chain objectives
    • Other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

    • Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in management, supply chain, business, operations management, program management or related field
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.
    • Familiarity with quoting, evaluation, and purchasing process is a plus, but not required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

    Physical Demands:

    • Required to sit and stand for long periods (Frequent); talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)
    • Ability to work in an office environment (Constant)

    Special Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required

    The salary range for this role is:
    $21 - $32
