DCM ANALYST – DEBT CAPITAL MARKETS GROUP

This role is regulated by FINRA.

As a Barclays DCM Analyst, you will become a full member of our team who are engaged in client coverage – providing market and economic color, presentations, discussions, meetings and debt execution in the context of capital raises or M&A transactions. In your new role, you will be participating in the development of structuring and pitch materials for capital markets offerings using robust transaction modeling and execution process skills, as well as committee memos, proposals, and other written materials.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Assisting in the execution of deals and proposals for clients

• Conducting financial analysis/ modeling, industry and market based research

• Preparing and reviewing of transaction documents and other written materials

• Preparing offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials

• Building on your exceptional knowledge of the market and Barclays products and services

• Forming a network of internal/ external relationships

• Participating in activities including task forces or recruiting and training to broaden exposure throughout the Firm and make a contribution to the Barclays franchise

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent 

• Prior banking or finance-related experience

• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• DCM or investment banking experience preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Working knowledge and prior experience with financial modelling, building, using and operating cash flow projections and credit financial analysis
