BASEL IV RWA TEAM ANALYST

As Barclays Basel IV RWA Team Analyst, working in the Regulatory Capital Team you will be tasked with the preparation and development of Basel IV calculation and reporting of both point in time and CCAR Projected risk weighted assets, capital, leverage and SCCL. Developing governance and attestation framework for Regulatory Capital program to coordinate efforts with areas in regulatory capital process. Working with a global team for internal management reporting to external regulatory reporting.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

•  Assisting in implementing any new business architecture required to support the Regulatory Capital computation per the Federal Reserve Bank Basel III requirements across the IHC

• Building out of Basel IV Regulatory Capital

• Supporting the Regulatory Capital external reporting requirements to the Federal Reserve

• Understanding the impact and requirements of the evolving and complex regulatory requirements with respect to CCAR 

• Maintaining internal controls governing Reg Cap including policies and procedures change control, comprehensive documentation and review by Internal Audit

• Working with individual business lines and other stakeholders on capital optimization and new business initiatives Develop Regulatory Capital MI for the business

• Communicating with Risk on understating interconnected counterparty exposures

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting

• CPA, CFA, MBA beneficial and background of US GAAP accounting

• Advanced level of understanding of Excel & PowerPoint

• Knowledge of products- Derivatives, Secured Financing Transactions, General Credit Products

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Prior experience in a similar function- preferably at an FBO

• Good knowledge of large data

• Experience with Federal Reserve Bank Basel III regulatory Capital requirements, preferably at a Large FBO
