BUSINESS MANAGER – INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE BANK
As a Barclays Business Manger on International Corporate Bank, you will have a specific focus on supporting the Head of Business Management Americas. In this role, you will be critical to building Corporate Banking capabilities and growing the US ICB franchise and will focus on strategy, high profile projects/activity, management information and governance environment. You may also have an opportunity to expand into other areas of business management.
Salary/ Rate Minimum: $145,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $215,000
The minimum and maximum salary/ rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Working and taking ownership of several key business management duties, ad hoc initiatives, and projects
Managing on-going business management tasks, including day to day operations
Working with Business Managers and Head of ICB Business Management on range of leadership forums, including ManFo, MBR and townhalls
Providing support on strategically important ad hoc initiatives/projects across the business, including CIB integration, Wholesale Lending, Trade Finance and Cash Management platform
Conducting/structuring rigorous, transparent analysis, including building financial/analytical models that enable thoughtful analysis and decision making
Managing or providing consultation on complex and critical projects
Handling strategic and operational problem solving through value-add hypotheses/insights/recommendations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A team player with a high level of commitment, enthusiasm, and energy
Excellent data manipulation skills, comfortable using Excel, using that to prepare presentations and extracting relevant information from large amounts of data
Highly organised and structured, with a proven ability to manage multiple conflicting deliverables within tight timeframes
Change and action orientated, delivery focused with a “can do” attitude
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
Analytical capability & attention to detail but with ability to draw insight and construct compelling narrative
Able to quickly grasp new topics and methodologies to conceive original and practical solutions to complex and business critical problems
