CFO BUSINESS PARTNER- PARTNERSHIP - AVP
As a Barclays CFO Business Partner – Partnership - AVP, you will have ownership responsibility to manage financial analysis for key partners in our Airline, Travel and Affinity Segments. Working with Financial Control, Treasury, Impairment, Cost, Stress Test and Business Functions to support the decision making process. You will support the Business Management team to provide financial knowledge and insights to drive effective strategy, while maximizing growth and returns to exceed the goals of the company.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Understanding financial results and P&L drivers, metrics and trends to build accurate partner / segment forecasts
Comparing actuals vs. forecast to identify opportunities and risks for the business
Building scenarios and sensitivities around new products and initiatives; partner renewals / renegotiations, value proposition optimization
Producing Quarterly Forecasts and ongoing Outlooks to guide the business understanding expected performance and drivers
Preparing Management Information Packages to effectively communicate results, opportunities and risks to Senior Management
Building and maintain effective communication channels within the different segments and support teams to increase participation and integration of all analysis and strategy
Providing insights of Interest Income drivers performance in a weekly / monthly basis to Revenues and BP&A management
Preparing Management Information Packages to effectively communicate results, opportunities and risks to Senior Management
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Five+ years of experience in Credit Card or Financial Industry. Bachelor's degree minimum. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are critical
Excellent analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process data into meaningful information
Proactive, dedicated self-starter with the courage to question the status quo
Ability to bring closure to issues through working well with individuals and teams throughout the organization
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Degree in Finance or Quantitative disciplines preferred
Master’s degree / MBA preferred
Essbase, Hyperion Planning, SAS, SQL experience a plus
