CREDIT RESEARCH ANALYST

As a Barclays Credit Research Analyst, you will be the supporting analyst coverage for the High Yield Basics sectors. You will be supporting coverage for the investment grade energy sector. The coverage universe includes 40+ credits that span Chemicals, Metals & Mining, and Paper & Packaging. You will have the opportunity to interact with investors and corporate management teams, as part of a high-profile Basics research franchise. You will also be interacting with the High Yield, Distressed, and Leverage Loan trading desks.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $110,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $125,000

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Supporting the Senior Analyst, responsibilities including financial modeling, qualitative analysis and writing research
Providing partnership for internal and external client constituents
Ensuring diligence of new issuers or names to the market
Monitoring market developments that may affect individual credits
Contributing to maintaining a positive working environment within Credit Research
Interacting with investors and corporate management teams, as part of a high-profile energy research franchise
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Experience in fundamental sellside or buyside credit research or other areas of credit or equity corporate analysis
FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S7. If not registered, we will sponsor
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Organized, superior attention to detail, and highly motivated
Experienced with financial statement analysis
Strong writer with good listening skills
