HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR
As a Barclays Hospitality Coordinator you will provide strategic hospitality marketing solutions and manage key business relationships by advising on and delivering a programme of hospitality initiatives, aligned with firm wide strategies. You will manage Barclays’ Hospitality memberships, request workload, ticket management and negotiations whilst implementing new hospitality initiatives and market trends to communicate detailed event information.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Utilizing experience and understanding of the hospitality marketplace, for both internally owned and externally sourced tickets
Developing and managing of assigned projects and event staffing which includes planning of client-related and internal hospitality events from inception to execution
Determining best development practices, strengthen and maintain strong relationships with key infrastructure, front office partners and external vendors
Providing clear communications that are aligned with the business objectives and the Barclays’ event strategy
Leveraging experience with enthusiasm toward process improvement, and apply knowledge to provide the best quality service to internal & external clients across all of Barclays
Providing budget management, tracking/reconciliation, invoice processing, client reimbursements and maintaining marketing materials
Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed including: compliance, security, vendor negotiation, data management, best practices and hospitality management execution
Following all internal processes and policies; and use internal technology systems effectively
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
1 year+ experience in the Financial Industry or Hospitality/Ticketing industry
1 year+ experience working with clients/stakeholders
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Industry knowledge and prior experience: Events, Roadshows, Hospitality, ticketing and/or Merchandise
Proven skills and experience in negotiations
Proficient in Microsoft skills (PPT, Outlook, Word, Excel)
