    FIXED INCOME APPLICATION TRADE FLOOR SUPPORT

    As a Barclays Fixed Income Application Trade Floor Support, you will ensure the continued availability, effectiveness and accuracy of the production systems that are employed by the Securitized Products Business. You will be responsible for working within the guidelines of the incident and problem management framework, proactively seek to improve business and technical processes through partnerships to provide maximum value to the business.

    Salary/ Rate Minimum: $75,000

    Salary/ Rate Maximum: $110,000

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    •     Operating as part of the team shift rota that provides support coverage from 07:00-18:00

    •     Interacting with the SecProd businesses to log, prioritize, resolve, escalate (where required) and own all support issues through to completion

    •     Performing deep analysis of support requests to identify the most efficient solutions to improve Stability and Reliability. Keep abreast of the wider projects within the technology 

    •     Communicating or escalating the incidents and problems to third line support (development), when required

    •     Updating the support knowledge base recording new issues, workarounds, solutions, and system/ process how-to's

    •     Taking on "Subject Matter Expert" responsibility for a suite of applications, and become a knowledge reference point for the support, development and project teams

    •     Delivering for minor works to support project initiatives and/ or to improve client service and strategy

    •     Working on analyzing business enhancement requests and through collaborative engagement with multiple stakeholders, and delivering solutions to our client base

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    •     Experience with ITIL concepts and best practices 

    •     Understanding of the Fixed Income securities, eTrading and trade life cycle

    •     Solid communication skills both written and verbal

    •     Ability to work under pressure and continue to deliver projects and process in time

    SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

    •     Experience with ITRS Geneos monitoring system

    •     Understanding of Interest Rate Securities

    •     Familiarity Mortgage Backed, CMO, ABS, CMBS securities and Mortgage Derivative products 

    •     Support experience in AWS or other Cloud environments

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
