FULL STACK DEVELOPER

As a Barclays Full Stack Developer, you will be reporting to the Digital Engineering Lead for the US Consumer Market being built out of Whippany location. You will be partnering closely with the business product partners; this role will be critical to developing the Bank Digital channels capabilities.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Designing, writing, and delivering software to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of Digital services

• Designing, developing, and implementing Web Application for customer’s use

• Developing code, writing unit tests, resolving defects and providing proper documentation for engineering and customer services purposes

• Ensuring code developed meets the quality and security standards followed within the digital team

• Working with the QA team to resolve defects fix problems with good quality

• Establishing and maintaining a build pipeline to support Digital development teams

• Developing of digital products (different than that of business product)

• Building automation to prevent problem recurrence. Automate response for all non-exceptional service conditions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING  FOR:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Experience working at large financial services organizations

• Designed, created, and implemented of Customer facing applications that can scale to millions of users

• 3+ years of experience working on large scale projects

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Excellent communications skills and ability to project the desired perception of the Digital delivery program

• Experience with IaaS and PaaS providers such as AWS, OpenStack, Heroku, and CloudFoundry

• Experience with implementing test-drive development in large development teams
