PRIME SOLUTIONS CONTRACTS SPECIALIST
This role is regulated by FINRA.
As a Barclays Prime Solutions team member, you will join the Prime Solutions team and which acts as a single point of contact and initial escalation, for both clients and internal stakeholders, during the contract negotiation process. You wil also be responsible for managing the prioritisation of the negotiation pipeline for new and existing clients, expansion of products with existing clients and regulatory updates & outreach, ensuring the efficient allocation of Firm resources throughout the process.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Working with Clients, Sales and Legal teams on the legal, business and credit points during documentation negotiations
Reviewing business points raised with the necessary front office stakeholders to ensure appropriate sign offs of negotiated business points
Coordinating with Sales, KYC, Credit, Legal and Compliance and the teams across Equity and Fixed Income Financing to ensure global due diligence and legal requirements are met
Managing client specific non-BAU requirements, working with the Product teams where necessary
Working with the Integration team to ensure that the set-up of new accounts is handled in an efficient manner and correctly reflects the requirements of the documentation
Liaising with Sales in preparation for and attending of client pitches and meetings to discuss Barclays' capabilities
Coordinating the Prime Services pipeline with Sales, both organic growth and new client and with fund service providers (Law firms, administrators, custodians, Etc.)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelors Degree at a minimum, JD is helpful but not required
At least three years’ experience in the financial industry at either a buy-side or sell-side firm
Financial contract negotiating experience is required
Aptitude for problem solving and juggling and prioritizing tasks
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Knowledge of documentation relating to cash and synthetic prime brokerage
Sell-side experience working in a prime brokerage team, or buy-side experience working with prime brokers strongly preferred
Knowledge of prime brokerage products and services including the risks associated with them and related operational aspects
Client-facing experience and exposure dealing with figures at a senior level preferred
WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
