PRINCIPAL ONBOARDING SME- ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT

As a Barclays, Principal Onboarding Assistant Vice President (AVP) you will be assisting an investment banking function providing day-to-day services for internal and external stakeholders. You will expedite onboarding requests for new Markets entities and new products as principal. You will be ensuring requests are fully completed in our onboarding systems and are ready to trade.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Acting as a point of contact for clients on boarding, using exceptional evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information 

• Assisting with policy and procedural changes on teams and senior management from respective teams on impact assessment of Onboarding requirements

• Providing ongoing training and support to colleagues, ensuring that essential procedures are followed and complex problems resolved

• Facilitating and utilizing internal systems for workflow management and data storage

• Facilitating reviewing control reports and investigating also responsible for resolving breaks

• Performing quality checking on sample of requests processed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business preferred or four years’ equivalent work experience in the Onboarding, KYC, Regulatory area

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Working experience in Financial Services or client facing/client service

• Ability to multi-task and manage heavy volumes of work and prioritize accordingly

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented, with Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel)

• Increase depth of knowledge in AML/KYC, Product, Regulatory, Credit, Legal, Operations and Technology Infrastructure, enabling the ability to challenge inefficiencies
