SUPPLIER DIVERSITY VENTURE RECRUITMENT MANAGER

As a Barclays Supplier Diversity Venture Recruitment Manager, you will lead our efforts to build a robust diverse venture pipeline scouting, recruiting, pre-qualifying and positioning for contract consideration. With a myriad of third-party opportunities gathered in conjunction with the Operations Manager from across internal demand, prime suppliers and client-facing needs, you will tap into traditional and non-traditional sources of diverse ventures. You will source the most qualified diverse ventures across international markets.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Building out the Concierge Programme, leveraging internal and external demand to manage the process of matching diverse suppliers to third-party procurement opportunities 

• Tracking effectiveness of prime supplier engagement and utilization of diverse ventures on Barclays-specific work (2nd Tier Direct)

• Supporting client engagement that offers diverse ventures an opportunity to participate in the design, development and delivery of Barclays-delivered goods and services 

• Ensuring data inputs/outputs associated with diverse venture pre-contractual, contractual and post-contractual are codified and tracked/reported across all categories of spend

• Providing guidance to Operations Managers to manage supplier diversity information inputs and outputs in source-to-pay systems

• Developing in-house platforms to manage information, data and process flows and search marketplace for qualified alternatives

• Supporting the Operations Manager in designing and executing marketing campaigns (social media, external website and related portals)

• Serving as point of contact for diverse ventures, prime and client/customer-facing opportunities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Demonstrated ability to manage and broker a large community of buyers and sellers

• Ability to design and implement project, process and performance management systems designed to maximize matchmaking between buyers and sellers

• Experience managing large data sets and making informed decisions from them

• Knowledge and experience with third-party goods and services and awareness of risk and controls resident in the supply chains of financial services companies

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Experience working with CEO’s and management teams of B2B diverse ventures, in a supplier diversity, procurement, consulting, academic, banking, or accelerator capacity

• Awareness of and relationship building with B2B diverse venture pools in the public and/or private sector

• Relationship management, data analytics/science, project/process management in a supply chain environment

• Experience designing and executing marketing strategies that map into processes and systems to match qualified diverse venture supply with pre-defined demand opportunities
