Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Support: Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to laboratory technologists.
• Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain CLIA, CAP, and regulatory standards while overseeing proficiency testing and quality control.
• Data Accuracy & Reporting: Review test data for accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely test reporting.
• Optimize Lab Operations: Manage workflow, personnel scheduling, instrument maintenance, and inventory.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Clinical Laboratory Director to refine SOPs and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in high-complexity molecular testing (depending on degree level).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory standards, quality assurance programs, and lab best practices.
• Leadership Skills: Strong organizational abilities and experience managing a team in a lab setting.
