    Position Purpose:

    This position will function as the subject matter expert for SCADA systems required for the operation of water/waste water treatment plants and remote facilities within the Delaware Operation. Supports the operation with the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and planning of the SCADA systems.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the development and translation of business requirements into technical specifications, overseeing SCADA vendors during implementation of the SCADA Utility Masterplan, and providing on-going support for all aspects of the DE SCADA system.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Work Environment:

    • Work will be balance of work in the office, in the field, and attending meetings with Operations.
    • Responsible for SCADA in all Operational Areas within Delaware.
    • Work will be both indoor and outdoor, and will require accessing any place where SCADA equipment is present, such as pits, ladders, tanks, etc.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience/Background:

    • High School Diploma/GED is required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related SCADA/electrical experience of 4+ years.
    • Experience in a Utility or Water and Wastewater plants and networks a plus.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Knowledge of popular SCADA packages such as ClearSCADA, GE Proficy, Wonderware, etc. desired.
    • PLC programming experience, RTU experience, and/or HMI Experience.
    • Ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities.
    • TCP/IP networking knowledge required.
    • Strong knowledge of general SCADA project management and technologies.
    • Ability to interface with all levels of staff and management.
    • Skills in working alongside contractors and consultants.
    • Exercise discretion and independent judgment.
    • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats.
    • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Open collaborative style: ability to work in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction.
    • On call and 24/7 support necessary for job.

    Required Certification/Licenses/Training:

    • Drivers License as some travel required.
