    Job Description

    Pay Rate: $20.00 to a maximum of $25.00 Per Hour.

    Position Purpose:

    We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Enterprise Architecture Intern to join our team and work closely with experienced enterprise architects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, learn about strategic IT planning, and contribute to real-world projects. The intern will assist in various aspects of enterprise architecture, including application portfolio management, technology assessment, and architectural documentation.

    Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12-week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals. Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry.

    Program Dates: June 2, 2025 to August 22, 2025.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Assist in gathering and organizing information about existing applications and technologies.
    • Help create and maintain architectural diagrams and documentation.
    • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to understand business requirements and IT needs.
    • Contribute to the analysis of current systems and technologies.
    • Assist in researching emerging technologies and industry trends.
    • Help prepare presentations and reports for peers/stakeholders.
    • Support the team in maintaining the enterprise architecture repository.
    • Assist in the development of architectural standards and guidelines.
    • Participate in project planning and tracking activities.
    • Contribute to the creation of roadmaps and transition plans.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience/Background:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (junior/senior year).

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Keen interest in enterprise architecture and strategic IT planning.
    • Basic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.
    • Familiarity with database concepts and data modeling.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
    • Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Strong desire to grow professionally and take on challenging tasks.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Curiosity about emerging technologies and their potential impact on businesses.
