Summary Description: Assist the Reporting Supervisor with the final report process, ensuring that the laboratory data meet QC criteria and the final reports are sent to clients in a timely manner. The QA/QC Reporting Specialist will perform the following duties: * Review environmental laboratory data. * Assemble laboratory data into final reports. * Generate Case Narrative/Non-conformance summary for reports. * Identify and document non-conformances. * File laboratory data packages into project folders. * Maintain excellent attendance to perform duties. Candidate must have the following requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science or equivalent industry work experience. * At least 1-2 years of experience as a laboratory technician, reporting specialist or data validator (environmental lab/data experience is a plus). * Must be comfortable in an office setting. * The ability to effectively work with large volumes of data in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment. * The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Strong attention to details * Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to proactively identify potential solutions. * The ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. * Ability to communicate sensitive information tactfully. * Capable of working independently and as a team player. * Must maintain confidentiality. * Good computer skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook We offer a competitive salary.
