Lighthouse Lab Services is working with a large health care organization located in Charlotte, NC looking to add a Lab manager to their specimen processing team. This position requires strong leadership skills, a background in laboratory operations, and the ability to manage a large team while ensuring operational efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 20 direct reports, ensuring effective leadership, support, and guidance to staff members.
- Scheduling & Efficiency: Supervise the scheduling team to maintain operational coverage and efficiency throughout the lab.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to team members to promote professional growth and ensure the highest quality of service.
- Leadership: Foster a positive, supportive work environment to enhance team performance and maintain high standards of quality and patient safety.
- Operational Support: Maintain effective operations in specimen processing, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in Specimen Processing.
- Leadership: Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced laboratory environment is required.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Schedule:
- Temporary (First 90 Days): 5:30 PM - 2:00 AM
- Permanent: 3:30 PM - Midnight (Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holidays)
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay Range: $24.85 - $31.08/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (Full-Time)
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $4,000
