HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

The Manufacturing Operations Specialist provides an opportunity for individuals to get hands-on experience working with operations and engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Individuals will have the opportunity to gain experience through rotational assignments within the site to enhance leadership, technology/troubleshooting efforts, contribute to continuous improvement through Practical Process Improvement (PPI), and gain exposure to activities on the manufacturing floor.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• This role is part of a site-based program designed to develop talent through 3 focused rotations in key areas of the plant to prepare participants for potential future leadership roles. Rotations will be approximately 12 months in length.
• Critical areas of learning include:
  • Technical skillset specific in Equipment /Process/ Validation
  • Leadership skills/ Personal management skillset
  • Quality mindset
  • Customer focus
  • Financial acumen
  • Problem solving/influencing/PPI skillset
  • Supply Chain process
• Participants will be assigned a mentor
• Assignments may include:
  • Technical rotation: in Technical Operations, Central Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Supervision rotation: in Manufacturing
  • Process Improvement rotation: in PPI or Supply Chain

HOW WILL YOU GET HERE?

• EDUCATION Students who have completed or are completing a Bachelor’s degree between May 2019 and Spring 2021
  • Preferred majors include: Engineering or Science disciplines

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Lab experience would be beneficial but is not a requirement
