Position Description The Production Coordinator, Original Programming (full-time, salaried, regular) is a key supporting role on the Original Programming production team, working with Producers and Senior Producers to satisfy all production needs from pre-production planning to on-set production through post-production. This position requires focus, an unwavering attention to detail, ability to exercise good judgment, proactivity, self-motivation, ability to quick to pivot as necessary, thoroughness, and ability to manage a wide variety of multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Project management and resource management for all stages of production, from pre-production to production and wrap * Ensuring logistics for all projects are efficiently optimized, inclusive of providing last minute solutions to ensure efficiency * Planning and organizing pre-production for all shoots, preparing shoot schedules, travel arrangements, call sheets, etc. and handling pre-shoot communication * Prepares and distributes call sheets for each assigned production * Evaluate and prepare every location to be shoot ready prior to the start of filming; this includes gathering any required permits * Manage travel to ensure bookings and travel spend efficiently optimized in relation to budget and schedules * Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract terms most advantageous to the company * Manage all communications with off-site vendors based on production needs * Facilitate and manage communication relating to the delivery of footage from live shoot to post-production producer * Manage and maintain production binders to ensure documents and production permit are current * As necessary, act as on-set producer to manage the shoots overall productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness * Supervise the production process on set and anticipate and problem solve any production needs * Manage and maintain logs in a working budget based on the Producers guidance/direction * Support the Producer in ensure all individuals and items brought to the set are utilized efficiently and productively; re-distribute work and troubleshoot as necessary * Prepare production vehicles with supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for shoot usage
