What You’ll Do:
Oversee routine testing, quality control, calibration, and proficiency testing, all while adhering to CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.
Ensure that high-complexity testing is supervised directly, maintaining high standards and compliance for every test performed.
Monitor test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure testing meets the highest performance levels and maintain analytic accuracy.
Take immediate action when deviations occur, ensuring tests are properly functioning before results are reported.
Provide training and mentorship to laboratory testing personnel, ensuring a well-prepared and compliant team.
Perform annual evaluations of testing staff and maintain proper documentation for continuous improvement.
Stay on top of all laboratory procedures, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a high-functioning work environment.
What You Bring to the Table:
B.S. in Biology, Clinical Lab Science, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in high-complexity testing in a laboratory setting.
Experience with Agilent 6460 and ImmTox 270 EIA (preferred).
Hands-on experience in toxicology sample prep is a huge plus.
A passion for quality assurance and team leadership in a fast-paced lab environment.
