    Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour

    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of 10-14 phlebotomists on the evening or night shift. The Phlebotomy Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating shift activities, ensuring quality and compliance standards, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Schedule Management: Develop and manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate coverage to meet patient and departmental needs.
    • Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate shift activities, acting as a primary point of contact for phlebotomists.
    • Training & Development: Mentor and train staff on procedures, protocols, and best practices. Assist with onboarding new team members.
    • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and compliance standards, including OSHA and HIPAA.
    • Patient Care Oversight: Monitor and support phlebotomists in providing excellent patient care, ensuring high standards in specimen collection and handling.
    • Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and equipment; coordinate with facilities to ensure all tools are functional and compliant with safety standards.
    • Performance Evaluation: Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide feedback, supporting staff in professional growth and development.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related discipline) preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of clinical phlebotomy experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
    • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.

    Working Hours:
    Evening or night shift; must be available for these hours to oversee shift operations and team performance.
