    Client Account Specialist Sonora Quest Laboratories 163 reviews - Tempe, AZ POSITION SUMMARY Reviews current and potential accounts for growth opportunities and determines best courses of action for contributing to the maximum retention and acquisition of smaller revenue accounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Assesses all accounts for growth opportunities based on a matrix of variables to determine appropriate strategy and execute plan. Variables include whether the account is primary or secondary, specialty accounts, volume, etc. 2. Prioritizes opportunities for growth by reviewing current account status and identifies service gaps. Collaborates with Sales team to generate leads for new business and upsell opportunities. Communicates with key contacts via phone and email to identify opportunities. 3. Sets up new accounts for smaller revenue and/or specialty areas by following quick start process. Records, documents, and manages all information in SalesForce including generation of reports. 4. Works with internal departments to support the needs of our accounts including; Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Patient Services, Technical operations, etc. 5. Educates current and prospective clients on all Sonora Quest Laboratories processes, procedures, and new service offerings. 6. May assist with trade shows and participate in various Sonora Quest Laboratory sponsored philanthropic activities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Excellent verbal and written communications skills. * Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. * Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks. * Excellent listening and problem solving skills. * Ability to effectively speak to groups of people in a public setting. * Ability to effectively identify client needs and to collaborate with others. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma. * Two (2) years experience in a sales or client services capacity in a Healthcare environment. * Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills.
