Lighthouse Lab Services is currently seeking a Technical Lab Specialist with strong chemistry experience, preferably with expertise in Beckman chemistry analyzers. This role will provide scientific support for method/assay development, validation, and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical validations, training, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with method validation, assay development, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and improve laboratory instrumentation and automation.
• Conduct training for lab personnel on assays, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate on quality control, workflow optimization, and documentation.
• Validate new tests, write SOPs, and coordinate equipment installations.
• Support regulatory compliance (CAP/CLIA, NYS) and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or MLT/MLS certification.
• 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience, preferably in chemistry or special chemistry.
• Hands-on experience with validating assays, troubleshooting equipment, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LIS, and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (based on qualifications and location).
