Lighthouse Lab Services is currently looking for a Technical Operations Supervisor to join a premier clinical laboratory in Louisville, KY.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hematology and hands-on experience with Alinity and Sysmex instrumentation. This role requires collaboration with lab directors to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the highest quality of patient care.

Position Overview:

• Supervise and manage all technical operations within the Hematology lab, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of Alinity and Sysmex analyzers.
• Oversee quality control measures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CAP, CLIA).
• Mentor and support laboratory staff, providing training and guidance to ensure proficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with lab directors to develop and implement operational strategies, resolve technical issues, and support research initiatives.
• Monitor lab performance metrics and prepare reports to track productivity, efficiency, and compliance.
• Address operational challenges and implement solutions to improve workflow and laboratory outcomes.
  

Candidate Profile:

• M.S in Biology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field required
• Minimum 3+ years of Hematology Lab Supervisor Experience
• Required experience in Alinity and Sysmex Machines
• Experience in CAP inspection and compliance

Salary / Shift / Benefits:

• 10 hour shifts - Monday to Thursday or Wednesday to Saturday
• $125 - $150k annual salary
