Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- 5 years minimum experience of large MBR plant maintenance.
- 10 years of experience at a supervisory level.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of Hexagon CMMS and SCADA system.
- Experience in the maintenance of MBR plants.
- Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance (RCM) principles, CRL or CRM certification current or renewable.
- PCMP certification.
- Knowledge of the methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in the construction, repair, and operation of engines, pumps, and other mechanical equipment related to wastewater treatment plant operations and procedures.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of an effective mechanical, structural, and grounds preventive maintenance program and operations of internal combustion engines and electrical pump motors.
- Basic electrical knowledge involved in working on pumps, motors, and other equipment; equipment, tools, and materials used in maintaining and repairing wastewater treatment plant and related equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Knowledge in the principles of supervision and training, safety principles and practices, and related state and federal laws and regulations.
- Proficient in the use of computer software including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
- GA Wastewater Collection System License.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Certified GAWP Maintenance Technologist.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination when preparing reports and using a computer keyboard; have vision sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents and operate office equipment; have hearing in the normal range with or without correction.
- Must be able to transport self across the facility and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
